Reasons why you should study Health Records and Information Technology course

I am Antony Papai, proud alumni of KMTC

I am Antony Papai, 58-year-old Health Records and Information Technology Officer at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

My journey at KMTC Nairobi Campus started long after I had begun working at the Hospital’s Human Resource Department.

It was a great honour to join KMTC at that time as it presented an opportunity for me to pursue a course in Health Records and Information.

Following my successful graduation in 2003, I was re-designated to the Health Records Department as a Commission Officer 3.

I was later posted to the Paediatrics Emergency Unit before being promoted to Senior Health Records Officer.

When I look at KMTC now and flashback to the heydays when I was a student, I see a lot of success.
The College has made great strides, expanding health training to accommodate more qualified young men and women seeking to dip their toes into the world of health services.

It was a great experience getting to learn with colleagues in the industry.
Being alumni of KMTC has given me a sense of pride that is evident in my quality work.
