TSC new recruitment interview score guide/ marking scheme 2022

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has released a new recruitment interview score guide/ marking scheme for 2022.

TSC SELECTION SCORE GUIDE FOR TEACHERS – SECONDARY SCHOOLS 2022

Applicants should be awarded marks  during the  selection in accordance  with the areas specified below. The schedule below should be used for this purpose .

APPENDIX  II CHECK LISTS

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT CHECK LIST

The successful applicant will be required to submit the following to the Secretary, Board of Management: –

  1. Duly signed commitment letter to serve in the school for a minimum period of five (5) years, and three (3) years in the case of North Eastern region;
  2. Original and clear copies of the following: –
    1. National Identity card (both sides);
    2. NCPWD card (where applicable);
  • 2 passport size colour photographs;
  1. Certificates and testimonials; KCPE, KCSE, ‘A’ Level, Diploma, Degree etc;
  2. Proof of payment for the Statement of confirmation of  results  by KNEC (where applicable);
  3. Evidence of separation from the Commission for those previously employed by TSC;
  • Official Academic transcripts;
  • Certificate of Registration as a teacher
  1. KRA PIN certificate;
  2. Bank Plate;
  3. Duly filled pay point particulars’ form;
  • NHIF Card;
  • Primary and secondary     school    leaving     certificates                 and    other testimonials;
  • Evidence of service as a teacher intern (where applicable)
  1. Acknowledgement of receipt of application for employment;

NB: The Principal/Secretary Board of Management is expected to verify and certify all the above documents before issuing the Application for Employment Form (APPT l) to the successful applicant.

TSC CHECK LIST

The Secretary, Board of Management is required to submit to the TSC Sub – County Director the following:

  1. Duly filled and signed Application for Employment Form (APPT l );
  1. Minutes of the selection panel duly signed and clearly showing how many applicants were shortlisted for interview from the system generated merit list and the selection criteria used;
  2. Completed selection score guide duly signed;
  3. Duly signed commitment letter to serve in the school for a minimum period of

five (5) years, and three (3) years in the case of North Eastern region;

  1. Certified copies of the following: –
    1. National Identity card (both sides);
  1. NCPWD card (where applicable);
  • 2 passport size colour photographs;
